The efforts of the International Hokusai Society, a general incorporated association of the Japan Art Academy, have been featured in "Senken Shimbun," a trade newspaper for the textile industry. The society is working on developing a variety of products utilizing Katsushika Hokusai's art, primarily targeting foreign visitors to Japan. In collaboration with manufacturers across Japan possessing traditional craftsmanship, they are creating authentic Hokusai-related products that can be appreciated worldwide. This article introduces that approximately 10 companies participating in the International Hokusai Club Product Committee, including Bonmax, Masumi Tokyo, and Mimona (which operates the outdoor shop "Orange"), are currently developing products. The society also plans to exhibit at Lifestyle Week Tokyo's "Inbound Goods Expo," to be held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 24-26. We invite you to visit our booth.
